Hi there, and welcome to our site!
Technology, eh?
This is the NEWS page. Depending on how busy/interested/together we are, it will regularly be updated and added to, filling you in with anything you care to read about SNAPPERHEAD.
First up though ..... THE ALBUM!

Here's the blurb:
The 9 song mini album Coming to my senses was recorded from October 2000 through to March 2001 at Anson Productions by engineer/producer/knob twiddler supremo Greg Truman, and we're quite pleased with it, thanks for asking.
Co-produced by Ben Sweeney ("let's try this guitar, now") the album includes special guest appearances by Julian and Adrian Ferrareto on violin and cello, good guy Steve Wildebeest on harmonica and Kate Boumelha and Naomi Crellin harmonising sweetly (ahh!) on backing vocals.
Ben took the thing to Sydney for mastering over Easter where Don Bartley at Studios 301saw the experience and finesse of 30+ years industry experience put the final polish on the product.
(And now the "Geez, it's as if someone else wrote it" section):
A culmination of 7 years of songwriting, the band chose an approachable and sophisticated sound that captured the core essence of the styles this band touches on in their music. With a mix of influences including Brit-pop, middle America guitar rock and through and through Australian rock/pop/country/folk this album reflects the current status of a world in flux and a society ill at ease with itself although the overall message is of hope and strength. Whether it be the yearning for direction in Lost Soul, the finding of self in Senses or that niggling feeling of something else is out there in Greener this album has it all. Heartfelt, intelligent, simple and honest, this music mixes melody with dynamics, and harmony with wall of sound. As a matter of interest the last song on the album The Rain Song was an afterthought following a one take performance during a system check on a new piece of equipment in the studio. The band intend to record the full version on their next release.
With the completion of Coming to My Senses the band will perform a preview show at The Austral Hotel, Adelaide, on Fri 31 August.
Other stuff
Former member Matt Carson is now a proud father and another one time member Brett Doig has married and travelled the world.
Nigel bought a house and is a very happy chappy. He highly recommends that anyone who's thinking about restoring and sealing a concrete floor should runaway screaming and lay carpet instead.
Ben works far too much in his day job. However, he likes the challenge of feeding the animals without loosing digits and hopes one day to better his fear of being hit by a stone flung from a lawn mower.
Steve's hopes and fears are a mystery to all of us. A SE Asian cruise should sort this out.
Following all this the band intend to take a long time in maturing into sensible adults who perform in a persuasive manner, suggesting that the only option for eternal life is to purchase a copy of the CD for the sum of AUD$15.00 (+ postage and handling). See the LISTEN page for details.
